Happy 4th of July

I have so many great memories of the 4th, it is the only holiday that the whole family on my moms side gets together. It starts on Friday night where we get to enjoy delicious dutch oven cooking of fried chicken, potatoes, beans and biscuits, homemade ice cream and of course many desserts. After that we get to enjoy the kids perform what ever they want, and this year we got to enjoy my Grandad and Uncle Todd sing some of our favorite ol songs. All the kids sleep outside whether it is on a trampoline, the back of trucks or the lawn, then it is up at 4:00 am to the sound of the anvil , then every one piles into vehicles to follow the parade around Taylor to wake everyone up. Back to Grandma and Grandads to eat breakfast, clean up and then home for a long nap.
Sorry no pics, but I hope every one enjoyed their 4th, and for the family that couldn't make we sure did miss you!
