My Girls
Addie is my precious she has been such a good baby. She is fussy at night for a couple of hours but then she only wakes up once in the night so that is great all my other girls were always up way late and then up 2-3 times a night. At her 1 month visit she had gained 3 pounds and had grown exactly 1 inch. Shes a chunk!

Labor and Delivery
2 weeks ago tonight I went into labor, The girls were in bed it was only 8:00 but I was sooo tired from getting up at 4:30 that morning to get Cliff off to the valley for his apt. so I went to bed and in my light sleep I started to feel some mild cramping going on. I awoke at 10:00 to a little contraction and laid there to see if I would have another, and 10 min later I would. When Cliff came to bed at 11 I told him about them, I wasn't too concerned though since usually when I really go into labor the contractions are at their worst. I just tried to go back to sleep, but of course couldn't because I kept thinking of everything we would need to get ready to go to the hospital, get the cameras, get the girls up and packed to go to g-ma Williams, make sure I got Kaylyns homework, her lunchbox and so on. I finally got into the jacuzzi might as well get in one more before it is weeks before I could again. At 1:30 I got out and started timing my contractions (cliff is just sleeping away). I decided to wake Cliff up and see what he thinks we should do because the contractions still aren't bad and not getting too close together. We decide that it would be best to get up there and get my penicillin going since I tested positive for GBS this time, make sure it has time to get into my system for the babys sake.
We load up everything, drop the girls off, have to stop for gas, and we were on our way. (contractions still the same) We slowed down to see all the elk that were on the side of the road, not in a real hurry to get there. Finally we arrived about 3:30 am get all hooked up on the monitors, fill out the paperwork, answer all the questions and they finally check me and I'm only at a 2. They call Dr. and he says to keep me I'm 39 and 1 day he'd be in to brake my water when he comes in for a c-section at 7:30. So in goes the iv at 4 and will have to have another dose at 8. Contractions still are manageable, the weird thing was that when I would get up and walk to try and help things along the contractions would get further apart, so tried out the ball and that helped.
They asked what I wanted for pain relief and of course I wanted the epidural, they told me that I would have to get it at 7 or else the annisteseologist (sp) would be in with the c-sections for at least an hour and a half, would have to wait until 9 for it, I told them I would take it before, wouldn't want to chance having the contractions get worst before I could get it. I got the epidural at 7 and was loving it, still had not dilated much.
After about an hour I started to feel contractions on my left side, we had the annisteseologist(sp) come back he gave me another dose of med, but it didn't work. I got my other dose of penicillin at 8, Dr came at 9 to brake my water, only dilated to a 7. We had to laugh because I was suppose to have a apt at 9 that morning, but instead he was braking my water. After that I could really feel the contractions on the left side.
Mom and Brian showed up, we thought for sure I would go fast once water broke. Instead we got to hangout and talk for the next 2 and a half hours. They checked me after 11 and said ok we are calling Dr. YEAH finally. Although I was ready to have this baby I was scared to death because I had never felt the pain. Dr shows up at 11:30 preps and after 2 good pushes out she came, thank goodness. I did it the one thing I never thought I would live through I did a natural child birth.
It is always such a relief to get your baby here, to see all 10 toes, 10 fingers and nothing wrong, just a perfect little angel put into your arms to love and to hold and kiss.
Addie has been so wonderful she sleeps so good and when she is awake she is so quiet and wide eyed. But boy do I have my hands full with Taylee she loves to kiss and wants to hold her all the time, and trying to explain to a 22 month old that sister is eating and that she'll have to wait is hard, I think she gets back at me by sneaking off and getting into the laundry detergent and scattering it all over the ground, or getting into the shampoo and her latest is taking her diaper off, I think she would like to potty train but it is kind of hard to right now for me,although it would be nice. She has already climbed into bed with her, The only relief I get is when Taylee is napping or her dad or someone else is around to keep her occupied. Kaylyn just thinks Addie is the cutest thing and also enjoys to hold her when she can.

This is LIFE
On Aug 12th Cliff was at work, working on a chevy when he moved a certain way he heard and felt a loud pop in his back (where the hardware is) he sat down and moved around nothing hurt so he went back to work but then something starting squeaking and moaning in the back, he decided to come home. He comes in and I can hear him when he walks he sounded like an old wood floor. We decide to go to the ER and get x-rays make sure nothing horribly bad happened.
He gets the x-rays and we wait for the results and they come in and say everything looks great with the hardware, ok so what is up with the noise when he walks. They listened to him walk and they don't know.
The next day (13th) we call his surgeon to see what he wants us to do, well just send the x-rays and let him see them. they got sent the same day.
The 14th call to see if they had received them, NO. so the weekend goes by.
The 17th call to see if they received them, YES but the dr hasn't looked at them yet.
The 18th dr still hasn't looked at them.
The 19th they call, Dr. said everything looks great. ok so what do we do he makes a squeaking noise when he moves. With plenty of rest and med everything should be ok. Well for the past wk that is all cliff has done, something is wrong he want to see the Dr. we could get you in on OCTOBER 6th. Are you kidding something not right. well Cliff finally got upset yelled at the nurse to have the Dr. call him himself.
The 20th at 9:30 that night the Dr. calls Cliff explains what happened, Dr says get a CT and come and see him, the nurse will call the next day to set it up
The 21st nurse calls gets him a CT scheduled and a apt to see Dr. in valley on Tues Aug 25th. Amazing what can be accomplished by getting straight to the Dr.
We are hoping and praying that the Dr. can figure out what happened and what we can do to fix this, and that I don't have a baby until he gets back from the valley. It's hard to not be able to go with him, but I also now that I don't want to have the baby down there either.
Pregnancy note:
Every where I go somebody tells me that I just look miserable, well guess what I AM I am soooo ready to have this baby, see what she looks like if she is more like Kaylyn or Taylee. We still don't have any idea on what to name this one ( any ideas).

Happy 4th of July
I have so many great memories of the 4th, it is the only holiday that the whole family on my moms side gets together. It starts on Friday night where we get to enjoy delicious dutch oven cooking of fried chicken, potatoes, beans and biscuits, homemade ice cream and of course many desserts. After that we get to enjoy the kids perform what ever they want, and this year we got to enjoy my Grandad and Uncle Todd sing some of our favorite ol songs. All the kids sleep outside whether it is on a trampoline, the back of trucks or the lawn, then it is up at 4:00 am to the sound of the anvil , then every one piles into vehicles to follow the parade around Taylor to wake everyone up. Back to Grandma and Grandads to eat breakfast, clean up and then home for a long nap.
Sorry no pics, but I hope every one enjoyed their 4th, and for the family that couldn't make we sure did miss you!

Where Did May Go
Wow that month flew by, the month of May is so crazy for us between Mothers day, B-Days, Anniversary and the end of school.
For Mothers Day this year my sisters, mom and I all went to the valley, where we ate, shopped, swam and you can't forget the pedicures. (sorry no pics)
For my Birthday / Our 7th Anniversary Cliff and I went to the valley for 4 days, no kids and no hurry to be any where we really enjoyed our selves. That was the first time in 4 years that we went somewhere alone it was much needed and not to mention that Cliff is feeling really well and can do more than he could, so I was able to drag him around the stores with me. (sorry no pics)
Kaylyn had a great last week of school, although she does miss her teacher. She had track and field which was hilarious to watch and then they did a kindergarten graduation it was so cute, they did the chicken dance and got there diplomas.
Kaylyn also turned 6 wow time does fly. We just had a little party at the park with cake and ice cream.

Cliff Returned to Work !!!!!!
Yesterday he went in for 3 hrs and today he went in at noon. He is just working in the office but hey at least it is work. He still has a lot of pain he is dealing with so he take a few brakes and goes and lays down in the car for a little bit. I'm so proud of him and how well he is handling things.
I'm at home alone with the girls of course, it is weird. but one thing is for certain is how much he did to help out with the girls. Taylee does nothing but stay on my heels and whine she just wants me to hold her all the time. Kaylyn has a harder time doing what I say, she is always good and listening to her dad. I know this is going to have to be another adjustment for me and the girls to get back to how things were before, but we'll get there.

The Ultrasound revealed
That our third baby will be a GIRL!!!!!!!! we kind of had a hunch that it was another girl, but we are excited to see what this one will be like because Kaylyn and Taylee are like night and day. Plus I don't have to re due Taylee's room that I have been working on, Taylee can just move in with Kaylyn and the baby in Taylee's room with no more painting. The only problem we are having is coming up with another girl name, oh well though we still have awhile to figure that out.

I thought I would post a up date on Cliff. He has been doing rather well except for some sciatic nerve pain in his right leg, the pain is so bad that he can only be up siting or standing for 30min to a 1hr. He is scheduled to see Dr. Hellen in showlow at the Spine care place on thursday and then they will schedule him for a epidural steroid spine injection to see if that will help.
Dr. Coss has put him on a pill called neurotin it is used for epilepsy but also works for nerve pain. Cliff thinks that it helps keep away the severe pain but never all of it.
Dr. Theodore (cliffs back surgeon) told us that on his right side was where a lot of the damage took place from the L5 burst, so it may take a long time (if ever) for that nerve to heal.
We sure have learned a lot about Dr.s offices. They are all CRAZY, there is always one girl that is so ornery and always acts like you are such a inconvenience for her when you call. You always have to leave a few messages with this or that person before you get a call back for an answer, and usually they tell you to call some one else, and so on. It gets so frustrating,
Anyways other than that we are happy, the girls are healthy and have been wonderful. We are so grateful to have so many friends and family around to be so willing to help. They have taken such good care of us.
p.s. we finally saw a x-ray of cliffs back, cliff said it looks like they played k-nex with his spine, when I get the x-rays I'll post them

Some Good that came out of the Bad
I'm SO EXCITED to finally be able to announce that we are expecting our 3rd baby! We found out the 19th of January that I was 8 weeks along, so now I am 15wks and everything is going great. I had to go through the normal routine for me of progesterone for the first 14 wks, I just can't believe that through all the stress that I was able to hang on to the baby. I guess is was meant to be here at this time.
We will find out what we are having on April 6th. I debated on finding out, but then I love the process of getting everything ready and washed for it's arrival, plus if it is a boy we will need something blue to bring him home in.

My POOR Husband
On January 24th our world was turned upside down, My dear husband was in a serious 4-wheeler accident. His B-day was the 23rd and he had a friend over that night, they went and drove their savages (remote control trucks) well his friend totaled his so wondering what to do next they decide that they want to go drive 4wheelers out to 5 mile nole. It was getting late and I didn't want them to go, but I also didn't want to ruin my hubby's b-day so I tell him to do what ever he wants. They left and promised to be home in a couple of hours. So I lay in bed worrying, it had been raining all day, I dose in and out of sleep when I came out of it, it had been 3 hrs since they had been gone. I start getting mad, nervous and scarred when another 45min pass I hear 1 4 wheeler pull up and all I hear is cliff friend who parks the bike and takes off in the truck. I just figured one of the bikes had broken down and his friend had come to get the truck and go back and pick cliff up. Another hour goes by when I hear people talking in the garage and then one of the voices leaves and only cliffs friend walks in and says " Karissa I sure hate to be the one to tell you that cliff wrecked the bike and is on his way to the hospital," my response "your kidding right?" unfortunately his wasn't, he tells me that he hurt his back and that he would go up there and call when he found anything out. I just sit there and wonder what to do cliff didn't have a cell phone so can't call him. I call my sister, what should i do? She tells me to get cliffs mom over to sit with the girls and get my butt up there, and she was going to go with me. Cliffs mom gets here and I take off to my sisters house when I pull up her car is running, I tell her that I can drive and she told me no I wasn't. We get in her car and she tells me that cliffs mom called and told her the news, cliff will be air vac to st. joes hospital within the hour, he had a broken back, ribs, arm and a puncture lung. That is when the DRAMA started.
Off in a airplane we went to the hospital, where he received more x-rays, ct, and a mri. They did surgery on his back on the 25th where they placed rods and screws dew to the L5 burst and surgery on the 26th for his arm where they placed a plate and more screws. He was sized for a back brace that he has to wear when walking, he was up on his feet if only for a few minute 4 days after the accident, where he has improved tremendously each day. He has to use a walker or wheel chair to get a round, but we are just so thankful that that is all. There was so much damage from the burst in his back with nerves and a small slit on the spinal cord, he was mm away from being paralyzed from the waist down. oh did I mention he wasn't wearing a helmet, very very lucky man!!! We spent 11 days in the hospital and have been home ever since accept for dr opt. He has a long road ahead of him for recovery, and he is out of work for at least 2 more months. But that is fine with me I've actually enjoyed the time we have spent together because he is always on the go. well sorry if I've rambled here are some after pictures they are gross.
