She is Finally Here!!!!!

I am so glad that she is finally here, she is just perfect. So here is her story, My due date getting closer and there wasn't much progress going on only dilated to a 1. Then my Dr. informed me he was going to be outta town for about a week and half he would only be back 2 days before my due date I thought great I'd for sure have her before then, but to my surprise nope she was still in me come the 4th of April, so I had a Dr. apt on the 6th my due date. We arrive and there is no patience waiting in the waiting room (very weird since we usually always have to wait) anyways he was still there amazingly enough he remembered that was my due date and he wanted to see me before he left to do a delivery. He asked if I wanted him to strip my membranes I chickened out and said no just schedule a induction, was in hopes to do that in just a day or 2, but they didn't have an opening for 3 days. So the night before which was a Friday I dropped the kids off with gma and gpa Williams. Cliff and I went to dinner then of course out for some ice cream came home and packed, picked up the house and amazingly crashed and slept wonderful. Saturday morning came I got up and showered and off to the hospital we went, at 8 that morning my Dr. came in and broke my water and checked me, I was already at a 4. My contractions started out not to bad my nurse checked me at 10 and I was still at a 4 so we went for a walk and those contractions really started to kill so we headed back to the room and I requested my epidural. My nurse checked me again and I was at a 5. I got my epidural and cliff left for some lunch, about noon my nurse checked and I was at a 6 and I was still at a 6 at about 1 so she started some pitocin and checked me and hour later and I was still the same, I was beginning to think this was going to be a very long day. My mom and Brian showed up a little after 3 and my nurse checked me at 330 and said well its time I was fully dilated and by the time the Dr got there we could already see her head and 4 pushes later our little Emilyn was born 7lbs 60z and 20 in. long our biggest baby and she was just precious.

Cliff and I couldn't feel more complete after every baby I always felt like I could have another one but I feel satisfied, and I love my life.
